upgrade problems

i downloaded the upgrades from stardockcentral. when i go to stardock central it shows that i downloaded the files. but my game continues to run the old original galciv. can anyone help or tell me if theres a support number i can call.

If you have bought the copy from a shop. I believe it wild save the files in another folder (someting with Strategyfirst) than if you download it. Could this be the problem ?
