Empires Question

Is there a way to see which empires are more active than others? Or should one just keep an eye on the posts and threads from that empire? Also, which one's seem to last and plan on being around for awhile.
I understand this is more of a subjective question, but I'm trying to geet a feel for active empires.
Thanks! :)

Kazzryl:

Most of the empires have a "communication" thread with their name in the title. A sure sign of an active empire is having that thread on the front page of the Forums on a regular basis.

Failing that, you can always just look at the Metaverse standings. Because later revisions of the game tend to score higher, empires that are more active tend to place higher in the rankings. It's possible to miss the smaller empires this way, so a glance at the Forums will still help.

If you're even slightly interested in empiring, go ahead and give it a shot. There's no penalty for changing your mind. You may want to browse around for a like-minded group of individuals and spend some time in their threads before you join, just to see if you enjoy spending time with the people there. Virtually all of the current empires welcome visitors.
