As an evil emperor I DEMAND the following.

The following is a list of demands I expect to have met IMEDIATELY.

6 - An easy way to find my planets with a starship bonus. If I'm working with pirates I don't expect to have to REMEMBER where they are.

5 - Artificial Slaves. What the HELL are artificial slaves? I want slaves damn it, real ones that live in despair and fear, not some synthetic super robo-slave.

4 - When I conquer the weak planets around me why must I slaughter all of their inhabitants? Sure its fun but they would make better slaves then corpses, but somehow my storm troopers don't understand that after you kill the men you are suppose to keep the women and children, even Gengas Khan knew that one!

3 - Whats with the UP limiting MY trade routes, don't they know who I am!

2 - You mean to tell me some genetic reject in a wheel chair can make ships go faster, but my pod linked cyber scientists can't figure it out? I don't think so.

and the #1 thing I demand get fixed....

That annoying goody goody music when my pod linked cyber scientists come up with a new way to subjugate the populous. I mean come on, there is my death bot 4000 telling me we have Mind Terror weapons and he is playing some lighthearted jig like he was a protocol droid. I tell you I won't stand for it any longer!

The game's music files are all MP3 files stored, oddly, in the "Music" folder of your GalCiv installation. Fiddle around with them until you find the vile jig in question. Make a backup - just in case - and replace that file with an appropriately sinister or horrifying tune; Mozart's Requiem, Ozzy Osbourne, or Pat Boone, as you prefer.

No you're not, Dark Lord is Commodore, you're still Fleet Captain. The difference is the social caste, you're more like noble squire while Dark Lord is lowly peasant.

pressing the break when you see some pedestrians crossing the road ahead of you will only bring you the same predictable thing -pedestrian lives, plus your breaks gets worn down a little bit. on the other hand, stepping on the gas will give you a different story every time!

Hello all :D I apolgise about the ranks bit, but like how does a score of 38564 get a higher rank than me when i have nearly 3x the amount of points?? im not having a pop at anyone else here, theres no harm intended, just that i owed those comments to 'The Dark Lord Assassin' after his little comments to me a while ago LOL i was a little 'green' back then and his comments were what made me give up trying to find any players for my empire, just wanted to give the dude the same perspective i had at the time!
And not a word from him i see ... ;)

Fleet Admiral - 350,000 points and 80 games
Admiral - 200,000 points and 50 games
Vice Admiral - 100,000 points and 40 games
Rear Admiral - 50,000 points and 30 games
Commodore - 20,000 points and 20 games
Fleet Captain - 10,000 points and 10 games
Captain - 5,000 points and 10 games
Commander - either 5 games or 2,500 points and 3 games
Lieutenant - either 5 games or 2,000 points and 1 game
2nd Lieutenant - 3 games
Ensign - at least one game and a positive score.

You've got almost enough points for Vice Admiral, but you're still too green to be a Commodore because you only have 18 games under your belt.
