GalCiv Online on Netscape

This is a question aimed mostly for someone like Spellforce, or anyone very high up there in the chain. I have downloaded Netscape for my computer and I use that more than INet Explorer. I have noticed between the two that the icons for each player have pop-up names on INet, but they do not work on Netscape. I was wondering if there was a way to rectifiy this for my computer, or if not, if the site could be updated for Netscape. Thanks for the input. I love the game and the site is awesome. :)

IE cannot be "better" than another brower (unless you love security holes) it's just Netscape (what version btw ?) being "worse" :)

It works perfectly with Opera and Mozilla.

Fun fact: Those little bits of text that can be included with images were originaly there for the benifit of people whose web browsers didn't support pictures.

They're still handy for blind people who want to surf the web as it gives their interpreting progams something to substitute for the graphic.

The version I am using is 7.1. I was just curious. BTW, I consider it better because it is not Microsoft, and the I like the layout better.

FMoD,

you should switch to Mozilla. It's just like NetScape only more recent. And when I say "just like NetScape", I mean that Netscape is built from the exact same codebase, but with different branding. And Mozilla is updated a LOT more frequently; NetScape is built from Mozilla 1.1, I think, and they're up to 1.5 and working on 1.6.

I use Firebird 0.7... it's Mozilla, but smaller and faster :)
