Newb Freaks Out

My interface has changed red in color with different symbols and such.(very cool touch, I might add) I'm assuming that it is because I haven't been so nice to my alien friends when I colonized some planets, and I'm now considered evil. :sniff!: Can that be rectified by making nicer decisions in the future within the same game...even if the chance of colonizing any more planets is very slim?

Yes, you can return to Neutral and even move back to Good alignment within the same game. Just a warning, as an evil empire you are subject to the Fundamentalist event, which will take a portion of your systems. This is the main drawback to being Evil, in my opinion.

Kazzryl,

You probably could become nuetral or even good if the game were to last long enough, but on a small map it's VERY hard to change your alignment once it's been established. It's okay to post a couple of evil games though...

What do you mean it's "okay" to post evil games? Is there something wrong with posting evil games to the metaverse?

Rectified?!?! >:( Lemme at 'im! Lemme at 'im!

Awww all right... I play nice. :p

Kazzryl, do you have any class 1 or 2 planets left? You can colonize those to find random choices. Always pick the Evil choice because it will help you with that sickly blue complexion. Then if the planet is still unsuitable, just eliminate that worthless planet. It's fun! :D LOL

I tried to launch a colony ship without any people and found it impossible. So in my last game, I was launching colony ships with a population of 1,000,000 people. But when they land on a quality 1 planet for example (and after I maybe get an event), I couldn't find any way to "disband" the new colony. How do I do that?

Aw fudge... loading GalCiv... loading game...

1. bring up the planet screen

2. click "Details" at lower left

3. click "Destroy Colony" near the center

Teaching dirty tricks is a lot of work! :notsure:

LOL ;)
