When you finish a game of Galactic Civilizations, what game year does it tend to be on?

I've never played with abundant habitables on gigantic, since I'd probably die of old age before I could complete the game.

I've done gigantic-abundant two or three times, and for me the games finish FASTER, not slower, if measuring game date. Slower in real time, of course.

The tech pace moves faster, the more planets there are. But I'm that rare soul who says phooey to the points and takes the alliance or cultural win if it is there. For players using the "flip em all" strategy to obtain a "military" win with cultural victory disabled, I'm sure the game takes longer (in game time) proportional to the number of planets.

I use governor lists very heavily, so frankly, for me, larger habilitability doesn't add much to the game length until the late game, when managing a lot of constructors and/or military fleets adds real time.

I'm surprised that Jaxom is playing mostly Rare maps these days, though. Last I heard from him on habitability, he was doing mostly abundants. I guess that was on Large and Huge maps, though, and when he went to more gigantics, that changed. :) Oh well. I can't tell by looking at his profile, since map habitability and some other interesting stats are not recorded.
