The Snowball Effect

is it all downhill from here?

Sometime ago, there was a call for proposals and I happened to submit one. A theatre group was offering money to those who were interested in mounting a play. After some thought, I wrote a brief synopsis of what I wanted to write about, did a bit of a background outline detailing my experience in the field of playwriting, acting, and interest, and several weeks later I got a positive response.
The money was given, I had some contacts for actors, and various crew members, and continued writing.
Word got around about what I was doing, and it's starting to get scary.
My interest is in Aboriginal Theatre. I previously wrote and performed in a play of mine last fall, and it went over pretty good. There is a lot of interest in Aboriginal performance, and also a lot of support available. This is good. And bad.
The pressure is driving me crazy! I've been chucking ideas left, right and centre, and find myself putting off time spent towards this effort. There are a lot of great people who are willing to help, and I know that I will get it done, but suddenly it's becoming more of a chore, I guess.
I've got until September to show the goods, but September is definitely seeming to be looming greatly before me.

Don't lose yourself, the harder the way, the better the reward.
