Minor Races

I played and a Minor Race became Military Godlike. Then I began to research the last of the research that implements Godlikeliness. Just too find out that the minor race needed breathing room and I was exhumed! My planets were too strong defensively but I was in debt so I gave all my stuff to the dregans. And left. What could I do?
