so I've got a question regarding the Metaverse...

At the end of a game when you submit your score to the Metaverse does it show up on here instantly, or does it update only at certain times of the day? :notsure:

make sure you enter your player name "Diffuse" in the top box of the submission centre at end of game. if you have registered your player name in the metaverse (Register) you should see your points come up on your profile.

When you submit a score you have to remember three things:

1. Enter the name you are logged on here as EG Diffuse
2. Your E-Mail Address, the one you used to log your account with here at GalCiv
3. Be Paitent , VERY PAITENT :D only click the submission button ONCE to send, it will seem as though nothing is happening, honestly, go make a coffee, weed the garden or something, as long as you have followed points 1+2 correctly it will log your score, it just takes a while thats all. It will then drop you back to the main menu with a little window saying something about test send / errors 0, click done then go find your score on the Metaverse :)

Ignore those other empires :D they have far too many GalCivians anyway , come join The Nefarious Empire, remember ... there is only one shade of evil, black :HOT: http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=664

Alt-tab out of the game, check your profile, then go back into it. The screen will have gone away by then. It seems to take much longer if you just wait.

Oh, and by the way, your player name is "Diffuse". If you change your forum nick, your player name will still be "Diffuse". Always use Diffuse. You can't change it.
