Freighters: How many to a trade route?

This is a newbie question.

Can you add more then one freighter to a trade route, and thus increase the revenue?

One freighter per route. You can have more than one route between two systems.

bulid starbases alon the route crammed full of trade increases. that will maximise your profit from the freighter.

To add to what Prime Minister Spellforce said look at your trade routes map... select sectors with the most intersections in them to place starbases. since doing that I also try to set up my routes to make as many routes as i can intersect in one sector to really make the starbase make the big money...
