Important Game play questions!!

1) If i invade or flip a planet with a capital of some sort do i get to keep that even if i already have an identical one, or does it just vanish?

2) Sometimes i am able to trade with an AI on the same turn that i just conquered it, if i trade them techs, can they turn around and trade it to others before they vanish?

3) I picked the species attribute bravery once (it was cheap), and it seemed i was never attacked even though i had a next to no military, i now pick it every time, and never get attacked in the early game no matter how weak i am, what does this attribute really do?

4) My stategey (i play crippling) is picking the industrialist with +20 social and +20 military and lets me churn out colonyships rapidly in the begining and i colonize more planets than any AI, then as i hardly get attacked i build up techs (added big species benefits to reasearch) to become superior to the other AIs with trading and what not thrown in. I am able to build many social improvements and ramp up mining of the resources that i have until i am able to sneek attack an AI and whipe it out in one or 2 turns the takes it's resources and then the game is over as one by one the AIs fall to my miltiary. My only bottle neck is having enough population to supply marines as i spread my people so thin in the primary land grab. I try an get aprhodsiacs and what not but it is still an annoying problem, is it just something i have to deal with as a trade off for my other strengths or is their something elese that can be done?

I'd love to hear some other gamers' thoughts!!!

1) The planet keeps the capital.

2) Yup, it's an undocumented feature.

3) It makes your people have a greater advantage if they are invaded.

4) 100% morale gives a big population growth boost. Also, Improved Environmental Control gives 10% boost.

Hope that helps. How long have you been playing? It's nice to hear from you, but I don't recognize your name.

In fact you can also give them back one planet if you want them to survive for some reason (for instance become a puppet state in order to let you win a tech victory).

100% morale gives a big population growth boost.

right. Pop growth is 6% at 100% morale, then 3% at lower morale (must be >53% I think, maybe 56 - make it 60 to be sure). High PQ helps.
