I like modding, but I now have a problem

I did a maso game with mods installed. After working to an allied victory, it came up anomalous. What happened? I had most of the mods in the Galciv library installed. No huge economy problems as far as I could tell. My only worry is that I had some almost PQ60 planets--is that the reason? I don't know. Help please!

What was your starting PQ bonus? If it was over +40%, it will trigger an anomalous.

I had PQ mods whose techs become available after Evolution Control. After uninstalling and reinstalled the game, I can no longer research the techs. What am I doing wrong?

If you had been playing a previous version to 1.20 before, and the mods were working, try moving the files from the Data directory to the Mods directory. I think there is a Mods directory. I don't have 1.20, but I seem to remember someone saying something to that effect a while ago.

You might have to enable mods in the options as well. If not, then there should be an entry in the INI files.

The mods were deleted when you unistalled. Reinstall the mods (in the mods/* directories instead of their old directories) and make sure all the mods with prerequisites in other mods have their prerequisite mods (the Nanotech mod is the only one I know of to which this applies, and it's prerequisite is the Advanced Terraforming mod).

The mods are in the data directory of the mod folder. I can't find any .tech or .imp files in the main data directory.

If the standard files aren't where you expect them to be but the game is still finding them somehow, then my guess would be that it got installed in a different directory this time, and you're still putting mods in the old directory. (SDC's default install directory is different from the retail CD's default install directory.)~SDC~
