Alice in Wonderland On One Very Bad Acid Trip

If you haven't figured out by now. This year our class play is going to be Alice in Wonderland. The performance is actually this Friday and Saturday. I personally think it's going to blow. Blow a lot worse than last year's play did. Half of the costumes don't even fit the stupid parts. Or they don't fit the people. In my case, mine is way too big. I practically swim in it.
I have the delightful part of the frog footman. I don't even remember him in the movie. I have a whole seven lines! Whoopy! lol. I guess both the frog and fish footmen are supposed to wear outfits that males would wear in the 1700s. My outfit is black and gold. The top is way too big. The frog footman is supposed to be portrayed as a very skinny character. Now I'm not as skinny as the frog would be.(and I"m not calling myself fat, just not as skinny as what the frog should be) I have to have a green face too. The only problem I have with that is that it's going to be a pain in the ass to get off, my face won't be able to breath, and I look retarded. Frogs are supposed to be cute. Well that makeup definatly not make me look cute. I look like friggin Shrek. lol.
I really feel bad for Sarah, Alex, and Bobbi. Sarah is the White Rabbit. She has to have her face painted white and her costume is funny looking. (but not in a bad way of course
) Alex....well he looks so cute in his little Mouse outfit,(even thought I think he begs to differ, but he really does!) but his makeup is a pain in the rear to get off and his costume doesn't have any mouse ears on it. One of these times either he will trip over his really long tail, or somebody else is going to either trip over it or step on it and make him trip. And Bobbi, her face has to be painted gold and she has to have scales on her face. I think they're drawing them with black eyeliner, so it's going to be hell trying to wipe that shit off. Stacey wants to put warts on my face. But frogs don't have warts. So I don't know why she thinks I need them...probably because she's mad at me or something and she'd rather take it out on me by drawing warts on me instead of stabbing my eye out with an eyeshadow thingy. hehe, lol. No I don't really think she's mad, but I don't know why she wants to put warts on me. lol.
You know....Mrs. Groff (for those of us who don't know is the english2 teacher and the head of the play and drama club), is really starting to piss me off. As well as a lot of other people. She was pissed at me tonight because I had softball tryouts(oh yea, guys I didn't make the team.) and then afterwards my mom wanted me to come home because right now we think one of our nannys(mother goat) is going to go into labor and she wasn't going to be home tonight. So Mrs. Groff was pissed at that. But rather pleased that I'll be there tomorrow and friday since I didn't make the softball team. You know, people have to work, and when I say work I do mean an actual job and I also mean other work to be done at home. Especially those of us who live on a farm. Drama is not my number one priority in life. And I'm sure it isn't in others either. Sorry that the band had to take a trip to Florida and miss a whole week of drama practice. But hello......band is a class at school. I think that my classes are a whole hell of a lot higher on my list of priorities than the play. I know my lines....I only have seven....I know what I'm going to look like in my costume and make up. Why do I have to be there. I don't have a main part. Yeah..."your letting other drama kids down when you don't come." Well I'm sorry, but screw them! I mean, I don't think they care if we're not there. They probably don't even notice. Except for Brandon, but he doesn't go making a big freaking deal out of it like other people. And it's not like I can tell my mom I'm staying when she says come home. I'm sorry I don't feel like getting grounded for something like that. It's just not worth it.
Ok, now that I've got that out of my system......this play is going to probably get messed up. More likely on the second night than the first. That's kinda how it went last year. People added in extra lines that weren't there. For instance...."Your mom!". But that was actually pretty funny! And then people forgot lines and made them up. So they really didn't make sense as to what was going on. But this year.....if someone forgets a line....well it's going to be pretty hard to think of something to come up with. But I guess we can thank the guy who wrote it! lol.
I guess I could do my part of advertising.....If you are apart of the school....you could drop by either friday or sat. at 8pm if you're already not in the play.......*cough*Shaun*cough*Jeffers*cough*
