Trade routes

1) When i "kill" one of my own trade routes, do i also lose the frieghter?

2) How much does the age of the trade route improve its profit?

3)When i invade and capture a system say the arceans, i notice i keep some routes, are those started by other races or the arceans or both?

4) What does trade embargo do? Do i lose my routes, alein routes or both and is it permanent or reversibe (meaning i can turn it back on and have it pick up where it left off)?

Any help is appreciated,

1) The freighter dissapears as soon as you use it to establish a trade route. The when a route is killed its mini-freighter goes away, too.

2) Don't know.

3) All of that planet's routes remain intact (though according to the manual their value is greatly reduced) unless it would cause you to go over your max number of routes or you're at war with one of the planet's trading partners.

4) All routes (yours and theirs) between the two civilizations are killed and no more can be started. You can lift the embargo, but that doesn't bring back the routes that were killed.
