Playing in a Window Question

Please can someone remind me exactly what I need to do to get the game to play in a window

Change the shortcut so that it has a w after the game. Example:

"D:\Installed\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\galciv.exe" w

Your screen resolution must be at least 1024x768 (or the window won't fit on the screen) and you must be using 16 bit color.

PJ, When I make the alteration below and click ok to close I just get a message saying the name is not valid make sure path and filename are correct?

"C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\galciv.exe"w

There should be a space between the " and the w.

Tried this: first (2) screens loaded fine, then it jumped to full screen mode.

Running 1024x768 16 color WIn XP Pro on a ATI Mobility Radeon 7500. Any ideas? Also, any plans with the expansion supporting windowed mode in 32 bit?

You're in windowed mode, but the window is exactly the size of your screen.
