Altarians seem to be #1

from Stardock Forums
Is it me but so far in all my games the Altarians always are able to become #1 with miltary or dominating space, In my games they're intell is on normal but so is another civ, also they are on chaotic good. Is the AI for the Altarians favored over the races?

It's you, or rather it's the luck of the draw. Generally whichever civ gets most of the best planets, will (at least initially) dominate regardless of alignment.

They were the first to be wiped out in my last game! It was the Alliance of Yor and Human who eventually dominated the galaxy!

Haha in the first game i sent in (only played 2 games that i sent in) Humans and the Yor allied with the dregin (err bad spelling) to win by alliance.

that game took me 4 days (rounding up) to complete it was one of my first games that i had a chance to actually do something without getting my butt wopped and then i learned some stuff and used it in the game =)

it was also on the biggest galaxy size possible. i also had 4 terror stars and distroyed 8 systems befor i finally finished the game.
