Where's the zoom?

There doesn't seem to be any zooming possibility in GalCiv and a player (and the ones talking with him) here seems to not appreciate it:

Now I have no idea if it is hard to code and if it could be useful for GalCiv2, but I'm simply reporting this and wondering if he's the only one missing a zoom...

Um, well... They don't seem to be talking about GalCiv. It looks more like they're complaining about Civilization 3.

Gal Civ 2 will zoom because it will have a 3D engine. The reason we couldn't do zooming in Gal Civ was because we used 2D graphics.
