Well i waited, even bought another game, X2

The new update i downloaded with fingers crossed and anything else i could cross, cue drum roll ...

Nope , still broken

the scenario editor is still not working, it will not properly load back the data it saves, as this was known weeks before the update was released im not a happy camper, its not a small bug and was noted by official Stardock people as not working as well weeks ago.

Back to X2 then

I take it from your post that "only" the editor is broken un 98SE, and that the game itself runs fine. Is this correct?

Like you, I run 98Se and will be very disappointed not to be able to use the editor. This issue is holding me back from pre-ordering.

Yes the game works, the scenario editor doesnt, its just the way the data is saved and reloaded, thats all the rest works fime as far as i know. Im not really intrested in the map editor so cant really comment on that but AP game works fine, you should pre-order its great with all the extra bits they have added.
