You should note that wizards live for hundreds upon hundreds of years so we will still be posting scores long after you have all expired. We will get first place back even if it takes us 200 or 300 years to do so. ;)

That's a pretty darn safe bet considering the scoring changes usually create chaos in the rankings.

The rankings will go all over the map if real scoring changes were made. The old superpower empires have a lot of old version games that got massively devalued during the last recalc compared to the puffiness of now. So their overall scores suffer. The more active empires have a lot of 1.04 games with those inflated scores. If a real standard is truly introduced and applied to all games of the past and present, and if the score are further adjusted for future standards yet to come, this changes the whole empire ballgame. Changes it for the better, in fact.
