Change Workarea in a script

Is there another method to change the workarea

Hi,

Mi question is: how can I change the workarea (left.right,butt...) by use of an object.

It seems that it's not possible with the script code: system.workarea### = 200 or something like that.

Is the only way to change it, the desktopx setting ??

Yeah I do, It will come in handy to set the workarea using a Widget
