Well it's been a few days since I posted the moo3 debate, and after playing Moo3 first hand , I can see why GalCiv is the better game. Well has anyone had the bug that the game keeps asking for disc2 even thou it is in the drive? Well that's been happening to me and it's due to the new patch. I'm glad that stardock is constantily updating the game and giving us a relativly bug free game. On a side note I think I found a game more complex then Moo3, anyone seen Space Empires 4 gold?

Sorry you have problems with MOO3 (i never had such a bug, actually i never had a problem with the program). I find it very different to GalCiv, so i play both constantly. It's clear, however, that the support from Stardock a wonderfull thing is ;)
I played the demo of Space Empires 4. It's a very good game. However you'll have to micromanage a lot. I guess you can pretty much do everything in that game. Check the demo (100 turns on Shrapnel games) ;p

I bought MOO3 immediately when it came out (loved MOO2)I only ever played one game of MOO3 before I got rid of it. I had that problem with the disk 2 (no patch).

I also found that no one would invade me so I couldn't really lose. I assumed they patched it out but I had already lost interest.

I had the game with patch on 2 different computers and 2 different systems (win 2000 and win XP)...both worked perfectly.
The problem of the game not invading is due to the fact that the ai on release produced almost only transport ships....try to conquer a well defended system with your troops firing their phasers out of the windows :CONGRAT:
What can i say...if you can't use the patch, forget the game
