Hard to say without more information. You can sometimes get peace by offering some money in exchange - spread out over a hundred turns is good - or techs or trade goods or whatever. The better your military is and the longer the war's been going on, the less it will cost.

Well depending where you are in the tech tree anti matter missils could also be helpful.

I cannot say enough about how these will keep you out of war. The way the boost your military rating is great. Helps to keep the AI from delcaring war on you.

I like them too, but when you're being crushed, it'd be nice to know the specific techs so you can get them fast. Anyone know?
