Metaverse Submission problem

Ok, I admit I don't submit often, as I really haven't had much time to play over the last few months, but when I finished a game a week ago, not only did nothing register in my profile, I think a game that had been recorded (in late December-early January) also disappeared from my record. I tried to resubmit the most recent game using the End Game Save, but no dice. Until this, I had never had a single submission problem, not even the need to resubmit.

I have a Drengin subscription, but I'm still using plain GalCiv, not AP. Any ideas?

If you have any ad blockers or firewalls, turn those off before submitting.

Also, your profile is still showing your Gal Civ account, not your drengin serial number.  Go to the metaverse page and read the instructions there for converting your account to use the Drengin.net serial number, which Gal Civ is probably picking up when it goes to submit.

GoblinCookie and Renegade, if you don't have any ad blockers or firewalls or you've already tried disabling them, you can send me your save games and I'll check them to see if they have a duplicate game ID as one in your account.

CarElf what happens is that the game doesnot let me send, when I click submit it says scenarios cannot yet be submitted to the metaverse, as this feature is still in beta testing.

I did what you dais about deleting the custom map from the ini file, but still it doesnot let me submit any game in 1.49

If you are using a custom map, you are also not allowed to submit. If you are not, but you have used one, go into your prefs.ini file and remove the CustomMap key.  This will only help you when starting new games, so hang on to the other ones until we update AP again with the fix.
