More little issues....

Hi,
Opening the Menu appears to be the same as clicking the Turn button.
In the later stages of the game, I have to hit the turn button twice per month. The first time nothing happens only on the second click does the month rollover. Lead me initially to believe the autopilot was dead or only working every other turn at best as I'd click turn and my ships wouldn't move. I finally noticed neither was the month/year either.
The Budget screen, hmm, well something is not right with the calculations. For instance, clicking the button to decrease government expenditure once, doesn't do anything. Only on the second click does something happen and its the same as cutting the budget by two percent. (the slide indictator goes down each time, so you have lowered expenditure by 2% but the budget doesn't update for the first click.)
If you try to go back up in expenditure, you get a different figure than where you started from. i.e. 20% -4credits for the month with 2800 income. decrease spending by 1%, still shows -4c, decrease another, you sometimes get a profit of 28*2-4=52c other times you get a really weird number out of no where.
The same is true with the tax rate. Now I know everyone hates to pay taxes but, given you're just moving the slider around in the same turn, it should be predictable what tax revenue you get, no matter how many times you change the tax rate....shouldn't it?? I changed my tax rate ( on a number of occasions) and reducing the tax rate by 1% should be predictable, revenue of 2800 at 63% drop 1%, i should loose say 44c (2800/63), given the population have more money they may even spend some of it so you could argue I would lose less than 44c but thats another story.
Putting the tax rate back to 64% without leaving the tax screen, should restore the 44c just deducted but it doesn't i get a really weird result. If i increase the tax rate further and play around a bit eventually i get back to the 64%and 2800c but it involves sliding the tax rate around quite abit.
I can't wait for trade and tourism to be introduced. Maybe I won't need 64% tax rates
Thanks,
