Something is wrong with the ship selection algorithm, but I can't quite describe it.

I am finding the ship selection algorithm doing strange things. The symptoms
seem to be subtle in some cases, and leave me uncertain as to whether I actually
saw a particular symptom or not. However, here is what I can definitely describe:
1). When selecting a ship to leave orbit, it will not be selected for movement on
the current turn.
2). The ship summary window often does not match the currently selected ship.
3). The "find" button or the tab key will fail to select some ships (perhaps the
ships that were just "de-orbitted"?).

As I find more symptoms I will add them here until someone says that the problem
has been found.

Cheers,
Jack

Jack,
I don't have the de-orbited ship selection problem. I can de-orbit a large number of new ships and each one is selected for me to move in turn. I play with auto-turn off. Do you have this problem with new ships (just built) or with old ships?

Paul.

Well, for number 2, it's probably being caused by the mouseovers on the ships in orbit. It doesn't give up focus easily, but I'm working on that.

The only ships that will be selected by the Find button are ships on the map (not orbiting) with moves left, that are not on autopilot, and not on sentry duty. I think that there might be something goofy with the way the ships are being de-orbited, so I'm looking into that.
