It is included in the game!! It only takes a very long time to research and to get to! They are without a doubt the most powerfull ships in the game.

loopcub, what is your version on the game? The latest version (1.2) has it. But as G-Force said, it is near the end of the tech tree.

I cannot find the version I own. I have gone to the end of the tech tree and did not get the ship. If I have an earlier version is there a way I can upgrade?

You can use Stardock Central, a free program you can download somewhere around here, to upgrade your version to the latest possible one. It is completely free and give you access to a lot of free stuff.

Did you get the game of a cd? Ever updated it?

You can only get the excaliber if your alignment is good

Are you sure? i think excalibur Technology doesn't depend what kind of alignment you have! I am sure i had Excaliburs with evil, :notsure:
I know for a fact that Sovereigh and Paladin (good) and Vampire and Wraith (evil), does depend on alignment!

It does not matter what alignment you are. I was pure evil when I completed the tech tree after I got the upgrade for the game.
