technical problem

1) You have to register your player,
Press the Metaverse tab
On the left side there is a register player button

2) When you submit
A) The Submition screen you need to enter your Email address, your Alias.

If you have and intenet connection active after a pause you will be dumped back to the main screen. Older version games may say submittions successfull.

If the internet is down you will just be dumped back to the main menu.

2 i' m playing with the french version, wich has plenty of bugs
3 internet is on


any other suggestions ?

swich to a full english setup and update to the newest version, that solved some problems i had with the german version

And for the updates you should get Stardock Central a usefull prog for lots of stuff, including a browser, chat tool and downloader

but can you explain, to a perfect stupid, what to do exactly after donloading the patchs

If you are playing the french version, you may want to take a look at http://www.nobilis-france.com/detailssoft.php?id_soft=101
It is the french 1.12 patched version. Sure it isn't the latest (1.20 which is only in english), but at least it works

If you want all english files, you should take a look to the sticky thread about fixed german/french files

You just copy the files into your GalCiv folder, most goes into the data folder. After that you'll have an english version
