Stardock updating

Hmm.

When I try to load up stardock, it automatically tries to update. It gets to the third file download, then crashes. Every time. If I cancel the update, it loads up normally. I then tried to manually update it, and it crashed.

Any ideas?

Was just browsing another thread and happened across this:

Yes, go to "SDCentral" folder in Stardock folder. Hit "Restore" program and it will reload/setup Stardock followed by automatic update if internet connection is ON.

Do that, and all shall be right in the world once more ;)

Nice tip Bromoser, thanks.

I started having the same problem yesterday and couldn't see how to fix it except uninstall / re-install StarDock Central. I ran across your post Ugleb and Bromoser's trick worked like a charm. All is right in my world again too, thanks! ;)

I have the same prob. Tried the above and no joy :(

clicking on repair in the SDCentral folder gives me a "cant find install.log" error.
I can get the install.log file associated by using the UNWISE and repair option but it still does not fix the issue. Still cant get SD Central to fire up and do its thing and after each attempt at repair I get problems logging into this site.

I know this sounds hopeless (and maybe it is) but try rebooting your computer and then renew Stardock Central.
