Latest Stardock Central quits install in the middle with an error message. What should I do???

i would like to install the latest Stardock Central but as I download it it quits in jhe middle of installation saying there is a problem. How can I get around this?? Must I delete the previous version and do a clean install from the web site??? Any help would be appreciated.

You could try the trick as described in the "Stardock updating" thread. I had the same problem and the trick worked wonders for me. I think i've also seen some patch for this on the GalCiv Homepage.

Here's the fix in case you have trouble finding it.

Yes, go to "SDCentral" folder in Stardock folder. Hit "Restore" program and it will reload/setup Stardock followed by automatic update if internet connection is ON.

The "Stardock updating" thread is not shown as a choice in my Syardock Central windows, so your suggestion is of little value.
