Can I finish a save game from demo after purchasing full version?

I just played my first game with the demo version (great game!), and ended (time expired) with 2 of 5 allies and the other 3 friendly, and also with cultural domination and 12 months to go to win that way. So I was close to winning two different ways.

I have the game saved the turn before it ends. If I get the commercial version, and load this save game, can I then continue it on to victory?

You may be able to finish it, but I don't think that you will be able to submit it because it won't have your serial number saved in it.

Well, that would be OK, I'm sure a demo game with 5 idiot AIs wouldn't amount to squat on the Metaverse anyway

I just want to finish the game to see what a victory screen looks like!
