Have the Calor been tamed?

Does anyone still get the Calor sabotaging planets?

Since I have been playing AP, I get the Calor showing up but they no longer wreak planets.

I try allying with them in the hope they will do so but have no success.

I have only had them show up in one of my games, and I needed another planet so I took them over. I didn't even realize the were a threat at the time.

They used to set of a device that would lower a planets PQ and destroy improvements. Thus the rejoice of the end of the Terrorist threat.

I was hoping by befriending them they would do the same to our enemies.
