Impossible population growth and Terror Party Palaces

There are a few things that I find a little strange in GalCiv. The two most prominent are:

The population growth.

At the year 2178 Earth had 1 billion taxpayers and an additional 0.1 are on the colony ship.
Asuming that ~5% of the total population are taxpayers that's a total population of ~20 bilion. With 50-60% under the age of 18. so that's an adult population of ~10 billion, not unrealistic.

In my current game I'm now at june 2192, that's 14 years after the game starts, the total number of taxpayers are 907.6 billion of these ~125 are converted alians. so that's 775 billion human taxpayers. Even if all humans registes for tax paying from birth, that's still a growth of ~750 humans in 14 years. That's some birthrate!:SURPRISED:

Terror Party Palaces
Starbases have the ability to increase influence by means of cultural improvements, fully improved we have the Party Palace. That's is ok. The only way of making a mobile Party Palace is to turn it into a Terror Star, that I have some trouble accepting. Does that mean I now force people to party at gunpoint, and how on Eart (or any other planet for that matter) does this make alians happy with my culture????
:notsure:

Personally I'm not suer I'd like to go to a party on a nuclear armed US aircraft carrier (I live in Denmark)

I think SBs should be either peacefull or militarry. The peacefull SBs should be able to build defenses, we'd want to protect our costumers ;) but not offensive weaponds like the "death star device".

The US military hasn't been unisex in a number of decades. You won't find women in infantry positions, or other places where direct combat is likely, but there'll probably be a few on an aircraft carrier.

Ok, admitted I'd take a guided tour of an aircraft carrier, provided no nukes were targeted on my hometown. We are still NATO partners.... I hope ;)

Might be kinda fun, if they let you launch beer cans with the catapult.

What about launching unwanted politicians? :HOT: LOL :HOT: LOL
But seriousely what's the chance of an armed aircraft carrier being used as an amusement park off the cost of China or the Middle East, and if it was what's the chance of it being a success??. A cruise liner, yes, but not aircraft carrier.

Party terror star?

Sounds like something out of Red Dwarf or Tripping the Rift.

"The Great Party Terror Star. Tons of booze, gambling, and it can destroy a star too. Amazing what technology can do!"

I think you are not up to date on the make up of the U.S. Navy. Women now serve in all craft except for submarines.

And so what? How much fun is it to dance with a 100 kg woman that lifts 3-4 times as much as you while working out?

No, back to the point. How realistic is it to make a combined misile/aricraft carrier and party resort?

And what about the "100 kids per couple" population growth? In 14 years you'll have grandmothers so a population growth of 5000% in 14 years require all families to have 100 kids that grow up!!!!!!!
