Sorry Steve

Oh darn it. I posted a comment on Steve Grenier's Mac 'Tiger' skin saying it was boring.
First, I apologise to Steve, who's obviously put tons of work into putting the skin (and indeed a whole desktop theme) together, and second, to anyone who is enjoying using the skin and now thinks I'm a total idiot. I've corrected the comment and slapped myself about the head.
Why did I say it was boring in the first place? Well, it isn't Steve's skin that my thoughts were directed at really. Part of it is my own struggle with creativity (or lack of), and part is my personal feeling about what WB skins are trying to do - that is, trying to be different than the OS's offered by the OS manufacturers. I expect there are people who see the Mac or Longhorn as something visually attractive which they want on their desktop, which is their personal choice. I find that a bit boring because to me it's replication of something that is already out there. That's just my personal view though.
I guess these are things which I should keep to myself. There is room in the world for both points of view and I will think before I hit the submit button in future.
Skin on Steve, whether port or original.
(I guess I should have had more reason to comment on the designs of 'ourcupoftea'... of which I have to remain silent for obvious reasons!)
