Anomolis score

Hi,

I've just submitted a game where in the Total Screen of AP it states that My score scould be 60000 (as I was told before that if your score is going to be anomolis then it'll show up as "0" not "60,000" I checked regularly through the game and at no time was it indicated that my score would be anomolis (Its from a party I made up and was testing.. ) Other times when my score was going to be anomolis then it Did display "0" but not this game.... Please help.. as it took me 5 hours to play it and I don't wqant to have a bad game in my records (this is why I ALWAYS check prior to Submitting" If nothing can be done to correct my game to 60,000 can it please be deleted ..

Thank you...

Did you ever have cheats enabled? That will always make whatever your score was anomolis.

There is a possibility that your mods created a scoring problem that was detected by the metaverse.

There is no indication that a score will be anomolis. There is no way you can check your score during game play that I am aware of.

That is not totally true. You can save the game and then "retire" and it will take you to the end summary and you can see what you score would be at that point. Don't submitt, reload the saved game and continue playing.

I believe that is a game is anomolous it will say so before submitting, or at least the score will be zero. I say that with some hesitation, because I have several anonomous games submitted that had good scores before being submitted and I only found out they were anomolous when looking on the Metaverse.

Since I use almost all the mods, I continuously check the "planet quality" ability on the stat page. I understand if this goes over 40 the gave will be anomolus. I have played games with the PQ ability up to 35 with no problems.

Maybe the game thinks you are just too evil.

I am pretty certain that I have posted good games with PQ above 50. They are extremely rare but possible.

Find a 20 or 22 get the bonus PQ when colonizing it, fill it up with PQ updates including the terraformer Wonder and also have a niehboring AI get find the tech that updates planet PQ for 2 sectors.

I think that it may have been the mod you were working on that caused the problem. Perhaps the balance is out of wack

Or the game was corrupted during submission process. :notsure:

Qwerk,
It is not the individual planets that have a PQ limit, but the planet ability in the stat page. If you go to the stat page, the ability list is normally up and is located in the top left of the screen. Scroll the list down close to the bottom and you will see an entry that says "Planet Quality" with a number after it. It is this value than cannot exceed 40.

Thanks... I just got on to Cari last night.. and she informed me of the same .. but that wasn't the problem...

Yes I've found that my PQ ability score was too high (I had it set at 50) but as I say that wasn't my main beef / bug report..

My main problem was that when I checked for Anomalous score by retiring it didn't detect the anomaly ..(like it has done in the past) If it had then I wouldn't have submitted the score..

I agree with you. I would be nice (better than nice, actually) if the system would tell you when you score anonomous as well as why, e.g. Planet Quality too high, or other reason.

Spoke to Cari last night.. She said that she'd fix the problem of the Retiring score screen missing the PQ ability test..
