I am unable to view any of the documentation on the editors. The files are listed as .doc so wordpad tries to open them, but it just crashes. What format are they, or do I have corrupt files somehow?

On the scenerio editor, whenever I save, the fields on the info tab are deleted, the races tab reverts to standard settings, the universe tab sliders are sent all the way left, and starting funds on the rules tab becomes unchecked and zeroed. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure which .doc files you are referring to. What would you like to know?

He may be referring to the help files located in the /docs folder. When viewing the help file for the Map Editor, I could not call it up from within the editor. Instead, I had to go looking for it.

The error message I received was basically, "Can't locate gcedit.doc in expected directory." Turns out that it was expecting the file to be in the main game folder and not the docs folder.
