Questions about the Korx

I like the Korx design -- I think it's the most interesting looking of the aliens -- but it provides some weird mysteries on their communcative and sight forms. How do they see or speak? They do not appear to have any vocal or optical abilities [lack of visible eyes and mouth], so I do wonder how they speak. Do they speak psychically [doubtful], or perhaps they speak by manipulating magnetic fields.
And for sight...well, they have no eyes that I can see. They have a place that seems to be for the eyes, of course, but there does not appear to be any optical organs there. Are their eyes simply so much like the rest of their body that they seem to blend with the face? Or do they see in a sort of "infrared" way?
Sorry if these are all weird questions, but the Korx design interests me greatly.
