Sudden crash on completion of a research project

I've experienced several times with different builds that the program exits just when I've finished researching a tech and the music's began. Turning music off seems to cure the problem, though that can't be the solution. Well, actually I usually play with music off anyway, but am I the only one who's had this experience??
