Possible error with user-made maps with multiple starting human planets.

I made a map where the player gets numerous planets are the start, and when I tested the map out I got the movie you get for first colonizing another planet right off the bat. I mean, right after the map booted up. Is this supposed to happen? This is just an annoyance since one can get out of it rather easily, but I do want to report it.

Let me see, if I understand you. You created a map that gives the Human player, multiple planets to start with. If this is the case, it would make sense for the game to see these extra planets as colonies; hence the movie. After all, you're supposed to start with one planet in a normal game.

It's not a normal game though. It's a custom game where the humans have an empire to start with, they haven't colonised any new planet yet.

Fulgrymm is right, it's not a normal game. It's actually part of a campaign I'm building, and there'll be a lot of later scenarios in it that have multiple starting human planets. . .

Still the humans had to start from some planet.

You did not have multiple humans evolve at the same rate then go into an aliance

Of course not. oo What's that got to do with anything, though? If the Drengin invade the sector Sol after numerous years of war, the humans aren't likely to start with one planet and have to expand from there. Scenarios with multiple human planets generally take place in heavily-colonized quadrents with a consolidated power base.

For example, in this scenario, the Drengin and Yor, in a temporary alliance of circumstance, invade the heavily-defended Sol Sector to try and cause a schism in the Terran Alliance. There's no way the humans would start with only one planet in that kind of scenario...
