Game crashes with windows error after starting

I am not sure if this is the right place to report this test result but here it is:

I started the game, I chose the civilization to play and the opponent and tried to start playing.

The game crashed with a "report to Microsoft" type of error.

I suspect that it could be graphics card problem.

So far had no such problem with other games.

I have a GeForce FX Go5600 which per NVidia isn't supported by the latest drivers and I should see if the mobile's manufacturer has one. (What kind of nonsense is that, I don't understand!)

Anyway, my mobile is an Acer. Anyone knows if there is a latest driver for my graphics card and where to find it?

I found Acer's site and downloaded their Nvidia driver. The error persisted. So if it is the graphics card then there is no solution. I hope GalCiv2 won't be needing such advanced graphics to make it unplayable in some machines. I prefer the game play of the original GalCiv to any beauty upgrades whatsoever, so if you take a vote this is mine.

By the way, if any developer needs more data or files sent to identify the error, let me know.

No more testing until next version comes out.

If you will post the portion of the debug file here that shows your video information then someone with the same card should be able to help you with your problem. It will also verify that the drivers you downloaded really got installed. (I ran into a problem where my video drivers didn't install the first time I tried it. I had a "RTFM" problem.)
