I actually stumbled across this site while looking for info on setting up my home theater surround sound system--btw I found this place while looking for wallpapers. Ain't the net great!?!
Anyway, you know those multimedia rigs that Microsoft, HP, and other companies are selling for $2000 and up? turns out they're pretty easy to build. AND you can do it--in most cases--for about a 1/4 to 1/3 of the cost of the OEM rigs.
So I was wondering if anybody out there has built one, and if so how do you like it? How do you have it set up? How much did it cost you to build? Etc., etc., etc. I'm seriously thinking about building one myself because it seems like it would be fun and rewarding. But then, isn't any DIY project rewarding?
