Konami Absorbs Hudson Soft.

Konami and Hudson Soft. announced in a joint press release that Konami will be taking Hudson on as a subsidiary. Yesterday's press release states that Konami will purchase an additional 3 million shares of Hudson stock, making Konami the new majority shareholder. The purchase shall put about $13 million into the pockets of Hudson to finance a restructuring in the company. Upon completion, the long standing developer of the Bomberman series will become a small piece of Konami.
