Hide System Tray Icon?

Hello,

After buying ObjectDockPlus I found out that there was an icon that appeared in the system tray of my normal Windows Taskbar. I was wondering how to disable that icon from appearing when running ObjectDock? Thanks for any advice given.

Tabbed docks can show in taskbar, systray, or not at all, but the ObjectDockPlus systray icon can't be disabled at this time.......

I'd like to ask that a future release of object dock + include an option to disable the systray icon from the main Windows taskbar.

Thanks.

I would also like to see something to remove the icon in the Windows System Tray. I try to keep mine as tidy as possible. I am enjoying ObjectDock so it probably won't make or break it, but this is a feature most/all apps that put something in the system tray offer and I would appreciate it if StarDock did the same.

I am not sure if this will fix it for you, but I managed to get rid of the ObjectDock icon from the system tray and I own the full version. Actually it kind of pissed me off. Unless the program is anti-virus or process-guard related a user should ALWAYS be given the option of turning off the system tray icon.

1. Start->run->services.msc
2. Machine Debug Manager->Properties
3. Set startup to disable

You don't need this service run ObjectDock and it can be considered a security flaw. The service manages local and remote debugging for Visual Studio debuggers

*EDIT* The icon came back. I've checked the registry too.

Just curious, if you right click the tray, properties and under hide inactive, customize: if the icon is listed (doesn't show for the free version) and you choose always hide - does it still show?
