GameStop and Electronics Boutique have announced that the two companies have signed a merger agreement today. The combined company, which will be called GameStop, Corp., is expected to have annual revenues of $3.8 billion with over 3,200 stores worldwide. The two companies said that they're taking this move in order to better compete in the global market. The merger must receive unanimous approval from both companies boards before it can move forward.
