High Scoring Losses

I was wondering what the straight out score deduction is for lossing. Some of the best fun I've had have been in close games that I've lost (I'm starting to play at more challenging levels). Has anyone psted a highish score that was actually a loss? I'd love you to tell me the sorry tale that goes with it? (:(

Mmm . . . thats interesting. Same here, I mention it because I read something where someone said it was a 'good' idea to post your losses as well?

My biggest opps was when I gave my Terror Star to the Dreg's (you know just for fun!) They had fun with it thats for sure. ;p

I didn't submit it, but I just had a loss that scored 499 (or was it 599?). That was easily the highest score on a loss I've ever seen.

I had increased the difficulty and was playing a large map. I held my own for a while, but started falling behind when the opposition got Dreads. It was only a matter of time... :) I eventually quit by giving everything I owned to the one AI that wasn't beating on me.

I realize it might be hard to code, but I'd love to see the game continue after the Terrans are eliminated to find out who ruled the universe in the end.

A loss scoring 499 (599) ?Strange..every single game I have lost so far scored exactly 23 points, regardless of how many games I have played so far, etc.I wonder what this is supposed to be.Anyway, great idea!I would love to see those other civ´s fighting it out, hopefully resulting in complete destruction of this special Drengin AI that gave me this "21 battleships attacking Sol ( defended by 3 BattleAxe ships ) experience" :)

AI . . . this is for you and all the sneaky things you do do!

I've started playing on more challenging levels (its about time . . . hehe) and I must say that on occasion I've seen the other races pull some pretty cunning stunts.

Snail Trail. I was way too busy making money to notice a procession of Drengin Constructors to a newly conquored cornor of the map. When the time came to invade that super isolated region (it was a large map) I set an auto course right into 4 defencive Stations . . . placed cleverly along the most obvious route, Shez, I lost over half my fleet! :sniff!: How embarassing!

I have one loss posted with 528 score (it is actually my 5th best score at the moment ;-).

I also had one loss in Maso with over 600 points, but that did not get posted because of some connection trouble and I did not bother to reload that game for second try.
