Hopefully I'm missing something, I have collectively over 51500 months of research to go to finish the game at the current level. I'm so technology advanced I can crush anyone who is crazy enough to land on my planets with advantages in Offense/Defense/Techs ranging to almost 400 and I haven't even built a planetary defense system yet that its no fun to conquer the galaxy. I can take a planet with 30,000 billion with less than 5000 and if all there is is waiting for the research clock to count down I have to be missing something...I hope

There is alot that's not in the game yet, since it's alpha - and there's much left to do to balance the game.

Dominic,

Some of the earlier threads (before you joined us) commented on the amount of tuning, balancing, and spell checking that still had to be done. No mention yet has been made on when it will be done, but with the amount of polish Brad wanted on the game for the review that GalCiv will get when the Beta comes out I suspect we should ask:

Stardock (Brad, Cari, Scott, etc.),

When the Beta gets to us, should we start reporting things like balance and tuning concerns and spelling errors?
