treasury ranking bug

I just finished a game (v1.4) in which I saw the oddest rankings for the treasury of the remaining races.

The Drengin were ranked #1 with -431BC.
The Arcean were ranked #3 with +370BC.
I had the number 2 ranking, with 5149BC.

Is this a bug, or is the treasury ranking related to something else besides the actual amount in the treasury?

Bug. The game is treating negative numbers in the treasury like really big positive values
