An Empty Heart

Had to get these feelings out...feeling a bit down...*sigh*

Alone and sad,
Withdrawn from the world.
I lack something beautiful,
If only I could find it.

A void dwells within my heart,
It rips through my soul.
Empty inside,
Desperation clutches my heart.

A yearning deep within,
From the very depths of my being,
For one to share my love,
To keep my spirits high.

Such love abounds around me,
And I long for a share.
I know of the joys,
But partake of them I do not.

I stay here,
Empty and alone.
No love betwixt another,
I share my feelings with noone.

If you are in love, friend,
Then cherish the feeling.
Do not stay like me,
Lonely and unheard.

The sadness I feel,
You can only imagine.
Though I have friends,
I wish for someone closer,
Another to share my thoughts,
My pain, my sorrow, my love.

Shaun~ This breaks my heart. We've talked of your lonliness and emptiness, I pray God will give you someone so special, but these things take time. But its worth every moment. I would do it all again just to be with him. Love comes in the most perfect unexpected moment in your truest darkest hour of need. I love you and I understand your need for something more than a friend. Its understandable. Don't worry I cherish every single moment that I am in love.

You should deal with your feelings....if you don't it ends up bad. If I didn't I'd probably have an emotional breakdown...I have to find an outlet. You should express what you feel...I try, but it's not easy for guys. Though I'm not sure, Kendra, why you would have a problem expressing your feelings, it's not like you have to fear rejection.

You know what Kendra? I tired of that crap. It seems like everything you say is fake. You need to just deal with your feelings and stop pretending like your okay. It makes you look like a hypocrite in my eyes. You have to deal with your feelings, they are there for a purpose. You and Jeffers are the ones who need to grow some balls and deal with it.
Oh and to both Jeffers and Kendra, what do you know about relationships? Shaun has a right to yearn for something, something the both of you probably yearn for to. So stop pretending and get real.

Last but not least. Stop with the cliches, I doesn't matter if there someone there to "catch you" if that someone is the "one' for you. Shaun is hurt and upset, and lonely. Let him feel that way. Live and learn INVOLVES DEALING WITH YOUR FEELINGS> You can freaking learn from something if you don't acknowledge therir presence!

One more thing. Cling to it Shaun. Hold on, and don't let go. From someone who wanted something actually someone so badly, I didn't let go, I hung on. It'll hurt like crap, but don't let go, don't surrender your feelings. I love you Shaun!

Remember the time of "singleness" in your life is a "season" that you have to go through! Just like Earth has spring, summer, fall, and winter people have times on singleness and togetherness and to grow you have to go through ALL of the seasons!

~Also, I don't think this is the proper time and place to be discussing who knows the most and is the best when it comes to relationships!

"...times on singleness..." ----- Sorry that should say --"times of singleness" --not "on"

Sarah's right, you know.

Actually I'd like to let the shitty feelings go....but I won't deny their existence now. Oh well...

Interesting way to view it. Going along with your view, this has got to be the longest damn season of my life....

Sara~ Not every one deals with things the way you do. What I ment when I said I don't deal with my feelings is that I don't deal with them outwardly...and weather you think so or not it's OK. I should have been clearer in saying that and I am sorry for the miscomunication.

Also if Shaun took anything I said as a put down, I am sorry, but I haven't got a clue how it could have looked like a put down, so I'm sorry that you interpreted it that way. And I'm sorry that you took my "intended" words of encouragement as words ment to confusse and mislead. I would never have done that intentionally. I would appreciate it if you didn't comment back on this in a negative way, nothing was ment to hurt in the first place, and every thing you just said really did hurt me. So I guess you win because now I am "dealing" with my feelings your way.

Again, sorry for the what ever it was i did,

No, I didn't take anything you said as a put down. Don't worry, you didn't insult me in the least. I know you're different in dealing with things...that's okay, but you should really talk more about them, it helps...trust me.

Kendra~ Okay, I was harsh. What I mean is I hate that I know your hurting on the inside but smiling on the out. You don't have to act. I've told you time and again that you don't have to. No one deals with things the same way, but I care about you and I want to help. But you won't let me help you, you won't let anyone help you. It feels like you won't let anyone that close. You can yell and scream at me til your blue in the face if it would make you feel better. It would make me feel better to know that you can show how you feel. Your way of dealing with things may seem like its helping but its probably just creating more hurt.

AHHHHHHHH!HH!H! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO IT IS NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not being difficult this time I am serious!!!!! I know you want to help and you have- so thank you. but I JUST DON"T DEAL WITH THINGS THE WAY YOU DO!!!! It dose not hurt me-beleive me. I DO deal with things. I DO. SERIOUSLY. Thank you for not being mad at me-that always helps. But, I DO NOT NEED TO YELL. Please understand that it is not a cover up, it is just the way i do things.

Dealing with things by yourself is hard. You of all people should know that. I don't deny that you are able to cope with things yourself, but you can't deny that talking with others makes it easier.

I think you do need to yell, just to let off some steam. You don't have to be level headed and composed all the time....sometimes it's best just to let things out.

I don't want to force this on you, but I recommend you think about it long and hard. You don't have to be alone anymore...

acband_girl is right…. And it looks like we both read the same book… : )

It’s a season… and I completely understand, having a closer friend to share your most intimate thoughts with is something most people long for. But, my best advice is wait until you know you’ve found that right person, and once you have… don’t let them go.

It’s the worst mistake someone can make, losing someone over a petty argument or a stupid “he said, she did”. Love is something that is more valuable than anything… but it must not be taken lightly. One of my favorite quotes…

“As gold is tested in fire, love is perfected in pain.”

You have been observing everyone else’s mistakes… that will save you the heartache in your own relationships. Saving you the pain.

So, you will know when you found that person you know you can confide and trust completely… it takes time and patience. And, you have more patience than most of society… combined… so you should have no problem.

You are beautiful, don’t let anyone tell you any different.

~Shadow.

If this doesn’t make any sense… I tired, and have a migraine
