Simple thing I'd like to see in a patch...

Doesn't the mouse wheel scroll through the techs if you hover over them? Still for those without a mouse wheel I guess it'd be handy.

I'd like to be able to trade with Minors even if I've left the UC . . . :)

Oh and a Corination 'cut scene' where I am crowned as the "Princess of the Universe" if I win a game! (Hehe just kidding . . . I can send photos!) LOL

there is a scroll bar, you should see small yellow triangles at the top right and bottom right of the tech listing

I mean just a sliding bar, the arrows are a pain for those of us who, alas, do not have a mouse wheel...

Yeah i agree. The clicking techs one by one sucks. Actually i like this game and all, and i realize the expansion is free, but from the description it sounds pretty empty; the only significant change is the rally points. I wuoldn't mind paying like $20 and getting some cool features, such as:

- cloaking ships
- Better ground combat model (like MOO2)
- Planetary bombardment
- nuclear weapons
- ability to create a star as well as destroy it (ala SE3/SE4)

Just a wish list, i know ;)

I have a mouse wheel, but for some reason it doesn't work for me in GalCiv. Probably something to do with my mouse driver though.

What I want is a type line so as to input the # of colinists onto a colony ship or the number of soldiers onto the transport. Toward the endgame with pop way up, the lowest I can put on a colony ship is about 3000m using the slider and that's too many to start a new colony with. So I end up having to mousewheel 100 or so on.

Ditto Pontius, that can be really annoying

As for star creation, how about creating nebulas on
the map, from which with the apporiate tech, stars
can be created.

This limits the extent to which this can be done
while allowing for it to be done.

nebulas would cross multiple squares and have
a minor slow down effect on ships. Only one star could
be created from a nebula cloud and it could be
created anywhere within that cloud.

It could be a starbase upgrade such as a terror star, requiring
like 10 modules with names like hydrogen inhaler and such.
