neualex, the easiest way to get started is to download Logon Studio Link It's a free program from Stardock. Open the window and click on the "Help" button, it will give you information on how to create a basic logon. Templates are included to get you started. Once you have made a few, download some other ones from the logon library that you like and check the way that one was set up, the settings, what one may be doing that your's isn't, and see what is set to a different setting than the standard logon files. Investigate, change settings and find out what they do. Trial and error is the best teacher. You'll get alot of errors when you start out until you figure out what works and what doesn't, but that's how you learn. If you just want to make a basic logon, the help file will show you how.
