Brain storming with the beta testers...
from
Stardock Forums
Like most game designs, we have 3 categories of features:
1) Must-have
2) Might be nice to have
3) Would be nice but would have to wait until some sequel.
Thus far, we have only really talked about the "Must-Have" features.
Now adays, we have to compete with games that have seriously more visual aesthetics than what we're working on. Our game, afterall, is designed with heavy replayability in mind, hence, quantity of events and techs and available options is better than having say incredible looking 3D cut scenes or a 3D engine. I.e. we have worked towards trying to make sure the game is easily expandable by anyone.
However, here are some ideas that are in our "might be nice to have category". I'll put that in the follow-up posts.
